Blues. This tile was inspired by delft blue china pieces. It didn‘t actually turn out the way I hoped, but it‘s interesting in it‘s own right. It was fun experimenting with all the different shades of blue, and the Sand Swirl in the center makes a distinctive contrast with the rest. Zentangle drawn on Strathmore Bristol Vellum using a variety of markers with blue ink. Coloring done with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Poloychromos colored pencils.

Experimental. This paper is from the same package as the tan I used for yesterday‘s drawing. I like the color, but it turned out to be rather difficult to tangle on. I ended up using metallic and glitter gel pens. Unfortunately, they don‘t show up well on the image here, but it really does look a bit better in person. Zentangle drawn on cocolate cardstock using metallic Pentel Slicci gel pens, Kaiser metallic and glitter gel pens, and Zig Wink of Stella glitter pens.
Yes, I‘m weird. And proud of it. Sometimes I just stick things into corners or odd places to add a touch of whimsy and surprise. It‘s fun and makes for eye-catching, interesting drawings. This drawing kind of messes with your mind because of the variety of depth of the shading and sizes of the tangles. In addition, since I was tired of drawing with black, I decided to switch to a sepia pen and use a couple of brown colored pencils to do the shading.
