I decided to add this to the inside of the back cover. That area wasn’t reserved for any particular day.
I was digging through some previously stamped pieces that were in a drawer in the studio and I found both the cutout, embossed moon and a piece that had been embossed with stars. I’ve had them for about 20 years ago, when I used to do a lot of stamping. I cut down the background piece and glued it inside the back cover. Then I glued the moon over it.
The left side looked kind of naked, so I added the Noel stamp. Then I used regular and “sparkly” watercolors on various parts of both sides.
When that dried, I used various snowflake stamps to stamp over both sides and I colored over the Noel with gel pens.
When everything dried and I came back to look at it, I realized the right side was like a magic picture! If you tipped it a bit one way, you saw the stars and the other way you could see the snowflakes! So I made this video to show you.
