PP08 - Day 2 This was an interesting project. To begin, a white, 3-Z tile is combined with a black Apprentice tile. After they are put together, the tangling was done on the white tile first, and finished up on the black tile. The video for this project is here . It was much easier to do than it looks like and I love the final results! Zentangle drawn on a Zentangle, white, 3-Z tile combined with a black, Zentangle Apprentice tile. Drawing was done using several colors of Sakura’s Moonlight gel pens. Shading done with graphite pencil and black colored pencil. Highlights created with a white chalk pencil.

Today I was rearranging a row of drawers in my office studio when I came across an unfinished ATC (Artist Trading Card), probably from 2018. It had the border completed and the large Well leaf-like shapes had been drawn. I decided to add some large MOOKA shapes all around and then just filled in between the upper ones with perfs. I added the inner lines to the flower petals to make them look a bit like they were cupped.

This little Bijou tile is going into my tangle index book. It shows a hybrid between Well and Florz. I like the way, when it is shaded, it looks like it is woven! Well. This duotangle is comprised of fractalized Well with Munchin added as an accent inside the sections. This concept was presented recently in the Kitchen Table Tangles in the Zentangle Mosaic app. I really liked the concept and decided to make my own with the tiny twist of some slight color changes and coloring in the circles to make Zen Gems. It was easy to do, and very relaxing.

Under the suns. All three suns were out in the day. Somehow the river floated in the sky, crossing the mountains in the distance. It‘s time for wind, and leaves, frost and flurries. But that depends on where you live. In the desert, cooler weather often brings new growth on plants and sometimes even fall blossoms, now that the sun isn‘t baking everything to a crisp. I used tangles that seemed to suit the time of year: Gust for the winds that change direction here in the fall, Bucky reminds me of frost on the windows, Static is the fall storms that bring us a bit of rain, Frondous for the plants that perk up in the cooler weather, and Fife and Well for their spikes and flower-like designs.

Yep, I‘m human. It‘s not your eyes, or anything wrong with your screen. I made a few mistakes in the Eye-Wa section of this tile. I still like the tile. Flubs happen. You just keep on keeping on! Zentangle drawing done with Micron pen on Zentangle Tile . Tangles: Eye-Wa Fescu Isochor Kule Well
