Random tangles, no string. The first two tangles that came up in the random selection were Anooka and Verdigogh. I immediately had a mental image of what to with them on my tile. So I tangled these. Looking at the tile, I wanted to add more leaves in the upper right quadrant. I thought about using Toodles, but when trying to figure out what to put in the lower left to balance out the design, I realized it would be better to use Poke Leaf above and Poke-Root below.
This started out with a leftover tangle, Carpet Daisy, from yesterday’s random tangles. I kept it for today because I wanted to use it with some other tangles for a “botanical” tile. There wasn’t much of a string for this, Just a couple of loops. I filled one loop with the first section of Carpet Daisy. Then the bigger loop, I decided to fill with Chainlea. I wanted to use Plum Leaf so I added several, overlapping at the bottom.
Project Pack 7 - Day 3 A beautiful star. The video for this tile is here . I am becoming more comfortable with Zendala tiles! I didn’t have many qualms about tackling this day’s drawing… other than it fell on a day of the week when I have the least amount of free time. But that’s ok. I just finished it the next morning. I am also getting more comfortable working on grey tiles. Right now, here, it is well over 100 degrees every day. The grey and blue combination is very cool and refreshing in comparison!
