On Wednesday, I decided to tangle a tile with whatever I felt like. Crazy Huggins is one of my favorite tangles. If you look through the Zentangle Gallery here, or click on Crazy Huggins in the tangle list at the bottom of the right side, you can see how many times I’ve done this tangle as a kind of “string”, and then filled in the centers with other tangles!
Yet it comes out different every single time!
I also decided to use a Cool Grey Micron 01 to draw the tangles inside each element. While it isn’t that noticible at first glance, it creates just the right contrast between the black ink of the original shapes and circles.
I started this on Wednesday, but didn’t finish it until the next day because of an afternoon and early evening of many appointments… a lot of “hurry-up-and-wait.” I did take my tile and pens with me, and worked on it while waiting. A really nice feature of Zentagle is it’s portability!
