Random tangles. No string.
This is the first time that I’ve tried using the grey pens for tangling. I don’t like the little dark “dots” that are left behind when you end a stroke. This is done on Strathmore Bristol paper, so I will reserve judgement until I try these pens on a Zentangle tile. But if they do the same thing on those, I may not be using them very much!
Given the tangles that were chosen, I decided to make a mini-garden with D’Rua and Mythograph. Then I added the Huggins behind the plant-like structures. I didn’t want the Printemps to overwhelm the other tangles, which is why I chose the light grey pen to fill in the centers of the Huggins.
I wasn’t sure how this was going to work out. But you don’t learn anything if you don’t try new things sometimes!
