Zensnacks: Tofube, Yoovay, Tofube and Clob
Tofube was created by Damy (Me Hua) Teng. It was inspired by the look of a rolled up quilt or bed mat. It can be drawn as a rectangle, spiral, or triangular shape. This versatile tangle can be used as a grid tangle, drawn as indivitual shape filler, or you can use multiple versions to fill an irregular shape!
Yoovay, was created by Shei Naritomi. This beautiful blossom tangle is much easier to draw than it apears here. I chose to add all the embellishment because I thought it was beautiful. I did wish I had done it on a full-sized tile. I will probably do that soon.
Batlló was created by Maria Vennekens. This tangle is created by drawing offset rows of orbs to fill the space. Then the orbs are connected vertically, followed by angled connections. The triangular spaces are then further divided, creating the star-like final designs. This tangle could work as a fill, a ribbon, or single “stars”.
The last tangle, Clob, was created by Jem Miller, aka Ragged Ray. It is a simple concept of tubular shapes filled with curved lines. It becomes really fun when the tubes are distored, curved against each other or twisted into a rope!
As you see, I haven’t been totally idle. But it has been a busy time, helping another teen, friend of my teen, deal with a difficult family situation. Hopefully, the situation is resolved by Christmas day, and we can all go back to our “normal” life.
Here’s wishing all of my followers, friends, relatives, students, etc. A very, very Merry Christmas, and may your New Year be filled with peace, joy and happy tangling!
